Rapid Adventures Sri Lanka is thrilled to announce our recent victory at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2024, where we received the esteemed "Leading Destination Promoter" Gold Award. This significant achievement was celebrated during the grand Gala & Awards Ceremony held at Aloft Kathmandu Thamel in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 20th, 2024.
The South Asian Travel Awards is a prestigious platform that recognizes excellence in the travel and tourism sector, attracting top players from various industries including hotels, airlines, and travel agents. This year’s event featured fierce competition, with over 400 nominations submitted across numerous categories.
Our CEO, Chathuranga Madurawala, and Adventure Operations Lead, Sithumi Gunathunga, proudly represented Rapid Adventures at the ceremony. Upon receiving the award, Chathuranga expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating, "We are honored to win the Gold Award at the South Asian Travel Awards 2024. This accolade marks the second consecutive year that Rapid Adventures has secured the Gold Award at SATA, having won the same honor in 2023.
